What is the application process to apply for a training contract?

We recruit at two intakes per year for training contracts to commence in May and November.  Sometimes future trainees spend a period of time with us as a paralegal first

As part of the process, you will begin your training in September of each year working as a Paralegal for an initial 3 month period.

We welcome applications on a year-round basis and ask that you send your CV together with a covering letter to careers@wilsonbrowne.co.uk

What are you looking for in a trainee solicitor?

Intellectual ability and analytical skills should be a given, but we are looking for individuals who share a passion for our firm and the counties in which we operate.

Are there any entry requirements?

Solid academics, but life experience is relevant!

What seats will I undertake as part of my training contract?

If you are successful, we will confirm your seats with you beforehand.

You will undertake 4 seats over a 2 year period and whilst we try to match trainees with areas of interest, the seats could be in any of our teams.

How many trainees do you recruit each year?

We recruit 4 trainees each year.

What do I need to have done before applying for a training contract?

We welcome applications from those who have, or are about to, successfully complete the LPC.
