Residential Conveyancing Vacancies

Reasons to choose Wilson Browne

Why you should join us

We’re a great place to work that offers opportunities for development, but don’t just take our word for it:

Sam Brett, Licensed ConveyancerSam Brett, Licensed Conveyancer

I joined Wilson Browne in April 2006 as an office junior based in Wellingborough and quickly progressed. In September 2007 I joined the conveyancing team as a legal secretary, working with the then head of the conveyancing team.

In 2010, Wilson Browne sponsored me in my studies to become a Licensed Conveyancer via the Council for Licensed Conveyancers and I studied part time whilst working as a paralegal, fully supported by the firm. Working whilst studying was hugely beneficial in terms of practical experience and I qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in March 2013, two weeks after having my first baby.

In 2014 an opportunity arose to become a team leader at our Kettering office and I’ve never looked back. I am currently working as a team leader at our Higham office having handed over my position at Kettering to Kirstie Mitchell.

Kirstie Mitchell, ParalegalKirstie Mitchell, Paralegal

I joined Wilson Browne as a junior paralegal after being an assistant for 2 years before this. In the 2 and a half years I have been here, I have gone from junior, to senior, to team leader.

The constant support I receive on a daily basis has allowed me to progress in my career and has also helped build me as a person. I am currently running my own caseload and managing a team that I support and develop.

Being a part of this team has not only helped build my career to what it is now, but it has also allowed me the time and confidence to continue my studies with Cilex to move towards qualification, which without Wilson Browne wouldn’t be possible.

Chloe Lake, ParalegalChloe Lake, Paralegal

I joined the firm back in July 2019 as a university placement student and spent the year developing my technical skills within conveyancing, throwing myself into my role as a paralegal. After my placement year ended, I was made a permanent part of Team WB, and have since spent time learning more, progressing and developing my knowledge with the support and encouragement of the team.

In February 2021, I achieved a goal that I had set my sights on since first applying to the firm, and am incredibly grateful to have been offered (and of course, to have accepted!) a Training Contract.

I am looking forward to the future, developing further as a paralegal, and then training and qualifying as a solicitor with Wilson Browne!’
