Team Leader - Residential Conveyancing - Corby

We are looking for an enthusiastic Conveyancing Executive to continue the development of Residential Conveyancing in Corby.

This is an exciting opportunity and the successful applicant will have proven experience of working within a busy residential property team and dealing with sale, purchase, re-mortgage and transfer of equity, including new build and leasehold.

The role would ideally suit someone with experience of managing their own caseload and who is now looking to take the next step towards managing a team.

As an experienced conveyancer, you should be confident in developing and managing relationships with both clients and estate agents, be IT literate and committed with a previous working knowledge of using case management systems.

Excellent business development skills are essential as well as strong organisation skills. Some supervisory experience is preferable together with an ability to work with minimal supervision.

Part Time Court of Protection Accounts Clerk/Support Staff - Northampton

A part-time accounts clerk/support staff is required to join our busy and interesting Court of Protection team at Northampton.

You will support the Court of Protection fee-earners in all accounting roles to include:

  • Making payments
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Keeping and monitoring deputyship bank statements and dealing with the client’s financial institutions;
  • Recording deputyship invoices and raising payments;
  • Preparing COP annual accounts;
  • Preparing files for detailed assessment and making costs applications;
  • Preparing financial forecasts

In addition you will be responsible for carrying out essential case management support to the Court of Protection team.

You will assist the other team members in managing their case load on a task by task basis and use your initiative to move matters forward, as well as having specific tasks assigned to you.  You will learn on the job and receive training through the tasks assigned to you.

You will be expected to working as part of the team to achieve group fee targets and chargeable time targets.

You will be confident in using your own initiative within set guidelines and will have strong communication skills both written and verbal. You will be comfortable communicating at all levels of the business.

The ideal candidate will already have had some experience of an accounts role and be confident with internet banking. Computer literacy is essential with additional training also available.
