Michael is a Partner in our Court of Protection Team based in Northampton.
With over 12 years’ experience in the legal sector and approaching 10 years’ post-qualification experience as a Solicitor, Michael joined Wilson Browne as part of the Court of Protection team in September 2026, bringing a wealth of expertise in mental capacity and vulnerable client matters. Having qualified as a Solicitor and become a law firm partner before the age of 35, he has built a reputation for delivering practical, compassionate and results-focused advice.
He specialises in Court of Protection and mental capacity work and is an accredited member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers, an affiliate member of STEP, a Senior Member of the Professional Deputies Forum, a recognised specialist solicitor with the National Autistic Society and a Dementia Friend. He is also regularly recommended by the Thalidomide Trust to support its beneficiaries.
Known for his approachable, down-to-earth manner, he takes time to understand each client’s circumstances, providing clear, honest advice and dependable support at every stage of a matter.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and dog, exploring the Lake District and working towards completing the 214 Wainwright walks as a family.
