Jessica Leech qualified as a Solicitor in May 2021 in the Family Law department at Wilson Browne Solicitors.
As with all solicitors there is a hefty workload particularly when it relates to families and children, but Jessica has decided to increase her workload, running the London Marathon in October 2022.
Runners will know how difficult it is to gain a place in the London Marathon, but following her experience in family law and the effect it has on children, the difficult situations children find themselves in through no fault of their own, she wanted to do more and will be raising much needed funds for the NSPCC.
Jessica commented “I have never run a marathon before, previously at school I was a 100/200m athlete so I have a bit of work to put in beforehand. I will be posting a video log to show how my training is going and will dedicate each mile to someone that has supported me in my legal career so far. Those that have helped me in my quest to become a lawyer will now be helping me to protect children from child abuse.”
