If you answered ‘yes’ to any one of the above then we may have the role for you, as we’re looking for a full-time New Enquiries Assistant to help drive our service to clients and potential clients enquiring about our services.
You’ll be in contact with a range of people with a multitude of enquiries, about their legal issues. You job is to define the enquirer’s legal needs, position a solution and liaise with our lawyers regarding setting the appointment for a further discussion.
Empathy is important, as is the ability to quickly grasp the issues and offer a high level of service to new clients, as part of their first experience of the firm.
The New Enquiries Team is also responsible for sending out and following-up quotes, so you need to be able to convert opportunities into new business and have a willingness to ‘close’: we’re not asking for ‘outbound sales’ but we are asking that you understand that the role is to convert the enquiry to new business, whether the enquiry comes from the website, via phone, or email.
A polite and confident telephone manner with excellent IT, organisational and time management skills is essential. Legal experience is preferred but by no means essential as training will be provided. In due course, a thorough and detailed working knowledge of the legal services provided by the firm is expected of you.
*The role has the potential to provide a route in to the legal professions for the right candidate (depending on performance) and we will support those aspirations. However, we anticipate that you will remain in this role for a period of no less than 12 months.
