Electrical Testing for Private Rented Properties

A year after the Government circulated a consultation on electrical safety in the private rented sector the findings have been published.

A total of 582 responses were received and the Government proposes as a result to require private landlords to undertake electrical testing of installations on a 5-yearly basis.
