We act for a number of Social Housing Associations. Our specialist team has many years’ experience in advising on all the issues affecting this sector in the contentious and non-contentious areas.
We provide advice on tenancy issues, arrears, demotion and possession and have obtained anti-social behaviour orders for local councils and regularly advise in relation to injunctions. The Social Housing Team at Wilson Browne is one of the most established teams in the area. The team are also members of the Social Housing Law Association.
Whether a tenant is just beginning to cause problems or has a long history of doing so, we have the expertise to advise you on the best ways of dealing with breaches of tenancy and can suggest solutions that will not always include proceeding to Court action.
The team also has specialist knowledge of the development requirements of social housing providers, and acts for a number of large Associations in multi-million pound acquisitions.
Our Social Housing Team is able to advise on all of the issues that impact upon housing providers including the Mortgage Rescue Scheme, land acquisitions, affordable housing sales and planning documents (e.g. Section 106/Section 38/Section 278/Section 104 Agreements) and options. We can also advise on tenancy agreements and employment contracts.
Whether you are a social landlord, an agency or a Local Authority, our team has the expertise and specialist knowledge to make life easier for you: you’ll be drawing on the experience and expertise of one of the most established teams in the area.
We’d be pleased to meet you to discuss how we can help at any of our offices (in addition to Corby):
