Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA) is the UK charity for patient safety and justice and provides a free helpline service to those in need.
AvMA helpline advisers are specially trained volunteers who are medical and legal professionals. AvMA is a charity and their helpline advisers are specially trained volunteers who listen sympathetically and offer practical advice about what options are open to callers following a medical injury.
Gemma Pabari and Neelam Yusaf from our Medical Negligence team have signed up with AvMA (Accidents against Medical Actions) to assist with their new enquiries.
Gemma and Neelam will routinely offer help to AvMA in obtaining the relevant information from potential clients following a medical injury. They will assist with being the first port of call for potential claims. Information about the process of medical negligence will be explained, options will be discussed for what to do next and advice on being referred to panel solicitors will be given.
