Celestina Collison, a valued member of the Residential Conveyancing Team has recently graduated as a Chartered Legal Executive – all part of up-skilling and a testament to the firm investing in, and encouraging its people with their development.
Having decided to qualify through CILEx after completing my legal studies and getting my role assessed as Qualifying Employment, I had to compile a portfolio consisting of examples of outcomes that CILEx requires members to achieve in order to meet their competencies for applying for fellowship.
For me, obtaining the examples of the outcomes was straightforward as I already achieved them on a daily basis. The difficulty was actually getting the time to sit down to compile the required examples from several different matters and to explain how these examples met the outcomes. This took about a year to achieve. It has been long coming and a lot of hard work but definitely worth it.
