Brain Damaged Child Receives Settlement of £16M from NHS Negligence.

A child born at Kings College Hospital in 2006 has been awarded a lumps-sum settlement of £5.2M and annual payments of £138,750, rising to £210,000 per year when he reaches 18. The child’s brain was deprived of oxygen during the late stages of his birth which left him with cerebral-palsy and very severe disabilities.
The NHS Trust settled the claim for 80% of its full value on 12 January 2018.
The PI and Medical Negligence team at Wilson Browne Solicitors have significant experience in dealing with these types of claims.
