Reasons to choose Wilson Browne
They say the best things come in small packages, which is why we’re delighted to bring you a sort of ‘mini LinkedIn Local’ as part of our support for Merged Futures 3
We will be holding our “event within an event” on:
- Friday, June 18, 2021.
- 12.45 to 1.45 pm
Our speakers have embraced social media to drive the profile of their firms to a wider audience and to form new relationships many of which ultimately result in new business for themselves and their business.
About Merged Futures.
The 18th June sees the third annual “Merged Futures” celebration – a digital festival presented by Digital Northampton, a collaboration between local digital businesses, the University of Northampton and local councils designed to support digital innovation in and around Northampton.
Merged Futures 3 has a diverse range of online events, and both Wilson Browne Solicitors & Kilby Fox Chartered Accountants are delighted to host a Special Edition of #linkedinlocalnorthants!
Since the very first lockdown #Linkedinlocalnorthants has brought the very best of LinkedIn to Northamptonshire, with the simple aim of sharing insights, experiences, tips and tricks that you can put to immediate use in your business, whatever the scale. This edition will be no different, but with a local twist – our speakers are all local!
Our first speaker is the President of the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Wilson Browne Solicitors. Kevin has established a prominent social media following in his own right but has also enjoyed seeing the Wilson Browne brand soar (you must have seen #wilsonbear by now) and he will explain the theory behind the approach, the practical issues/hurdles that have been overcome, as well as giving some clear insight on how to use LinkedIn in particular.
From set up to being one of the county’s most successful companies providing quantity surveyors, estimators and project managers Parm and his team have embraced technology and we will hear how he approaches content (video in particular) as part of their strategy in terms of informing their market.
We will hear what worked, what doesn’t, and what keeps them going – as well as what is in store next!
We will hear his approach to social media, overcoming that initial reluctance, to being able to show personality, and how he finds the challenge of being a parent and a professional whilst balancing the need to create a steady stream of content creation.
John will lift the lid on how the pandemic has shaped – and will continue to shape – the world of media output, setting out the challenges and opportunities that are in front of those willing to seek out and seize opportunity.
Co-Director of The Brady Creative – a marketing agency based in Northampton that helps SME’s with Social Media Marketing, Copywriting, Brand Development and Marketing Strategy, Hannah is also President of the Next Generation Chamber.
This is a group affiliated with the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce focused on training and networking for tomorrow’s business leaders. Hannah set up her business during the pandemic and can talk about the unique challenges that brought, how they were overcome, as well as the opportunities that the digital world presents to businesses in and around Northamptonshire going forward.
There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, debate approaches and to pick up valuable tips that can be implemented straight away.
