Estate Agents Amongst First Wave Of Businesses To Reopen?

Reasons to choose Wilson Browne

Several tabloid newspapers have claimed that estate agents could be amongst the first wave of high street businesses permitted to reopen as the government look at a workable exit strategy for the UK economy.

The report written for government by Conservative peer Lord Gadhia and Sir Jonathan Symonds, GlaxoSmithKline’s Chair, identified a number of businesses which have the greatest benefit to the wider economy whilst offering minimum risks of further spreading Covid-19.

Jenny Woodruff, Head of Conveyancing comments:

This is absolutely crucial to getting the property market moving again in what is usually a very busy time of the year. The longer lockdown goes on, the less confidence there will be in the property market so the sooner the better, of course keeping in mind social distancing requirements at all times.
