We all want the best
for our children and when relationships
breakdown often the most distressing
aspect of splitting up is making decisions
about where children will spend their
time.
The team at Wilson Browne have substantial experience in dealing
with all issues relating to children
and in helping couples who are splitting
up to reach agreement about how they
want to bring their children up even
after they have separated.
Where agreement cannot be reached
we will help you with the Court process
so that the Court can make an Order
in the interests of the children as
to what should happen in the future.
There are a variety of Orders available
to the Court including residence orders,
formerly known as custody, contact orders, formerly known as access, prohibited steps orders
which would prevent things
such as a child being removed to another
Country and specific issues
orders, which might deal with particular
issues relating to a childs
upbringing such as a change of surname
or issues relating to their education.
Our team understands the importance
of getting arrangements for your children
right and the importance of doing
that as quickly as possible and we
will work at every step to ensure
we help you with this.
