Paul, who was born and bred in Leicester, joined a local firm of Solicitors at 16 as a Trainee Legal Executive. After becoming a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives he continued legal studies to qualify as a Solicitor in 1980. He joined Holyoak & Co in June 1984 to manage a branch office in Leicester and dealt with both contentious and non-contentious work. Paul was made a Partner in May 1988 and the head of Holyoak’s private client business. Following closure of the branch office he moved into the main office at Peacock Lane. Since the merger with Wilson Browne he continues to deal with private client work which includes matters relating to wills, probate, the administration of estates and trust law issues. Paul’s expertise also includes the preparation of Shariah Compliant Wills. Paul is a member of the Law Society’s Probate Section, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and was appointed to the Court of Protection’s External Panel of Deputies. He is also a Trustee of Age Concern Leicestershire and Rutland. His professional interests include the Law relating to the management of the affairs of the elderly client and mentally handicapped.
