Jennifer is a Partner in our Litigation Department. She is Head of our Northampton office and a member of the firm’s Board of Management. Jennifer joined the firm in 1997 and was made a Partner in January 2001. She has worked for many years in the clinical negligence litigation field and has concluded a number of multi-million pound claims for catastrophically injured clients. She now specialises in contentious probate and social housing law. Jennifer leads our Housing Team and concentrates a lot of her time in the areas of breach of tenancy, nuisance and anti-social behaviour possession proceedings. Jennifer is a member of the Social Housing Law Association and advises Housing Associations on nuisance-related issues. She secured one of the first Anti-Social Behaviour Orders in Northamptonshire and often obtains injunctions against anti-social tenants. Jennifer also advises clients who wish to dispute Wills or claim against estates. She specialises in Inheritance Act claims and ensuring that dependants who are left under-provided for in a Will or intestacy receive adequate provision from the estate.
