Wilson Browne’s staff have chosen the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) as the firm’s corporate charity for 2008. The WNAA provide an emergency medical service for Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.

As one of only three services outside of London to routinely carry a Doctor on board and servicing a population of around 1.1 million people, the WNAA is the busiest air ambulance in the UK - yet they receive no Government or National Lottery funding! The WNAA is a registered charity and relies totally on donations and sponsorship with an average cost of £850 per mission.

In order to support the charity most effectively, allow a bit of fun during the fund raising process and involve as many people as possible, a dedicated Wilson Browne Corporate Charity Team has been appointed which brings together all of the firms’ trainee solicitors.

• In January Wilson Browne raised £300.60 for the WNAA through a collection of unwanted items.
• Cake baking across our 8 offices during February raised £274.35.
• A mufti day held in April raised £161.50
• Waendell Walk sponsorship in May raised £378.50
• Stall at the Donkey Derby, Wellingborough in June raised £44.69
• In June a Euro 2008 sweepstake raised £192
• Dragon Boat racing in July raised £565.50
• Quiz night in August raised £491.70
• A bucket collection at the Rushden & Diamonds in September raised £150
